(VEGY), Gaya, Bihar, India. Gaya Airport is a public airport serving Gaya, Bihar, India. It is the second busiest airport in Bihar.

Gaya is 100 kilometers south of Patna, the capital city of Bihar. Situated on the banks of Falgu River, it is a place sanctified by the Hindu, the Buddhist and the Jain religions. It is surrounded by small rocky hills by three sides and the river flowing on the fourth side. The city has a mix of natural surroundings, age old buildings and narrow bylanes.

- Removed the closed runway (10/19).

- Modified taxiways, and aprons.
- Reduced available parking to two.

- Added ILS to rwy 28 (109.30).
- Added approach lighting for rwys 10 and 28.
- Added isolation parking.
