Trenton Robbinsville Airport (N87) brings Robbinsville, New Jersey to life in FSX with custom hangars, Air-Mods training ramp details, and an aerially faithful small-airport layout built in Airport Design Editor. Static aircraft and airstrip clutter enhance day-to-day GA atmosphere and requires the KB Sims static aircraft library plus Sidney Schwartz’s Small Airstrip Objects.

Trenton Robbinsville Airport (N87) is located in Robbinsville, New Jersey (NJ), USA. It is the home to Air-Mods Flight Training Center and Aviation Charters, Inc. By Christopher G. Clawson.

This scenery was created using Airport Design Editor FSX Edition. Static aircraft are from a freeware collection by KB Sims. Also uses the freeware Small Airstrip Objects collection by Sidney Schwartz. Hangars were created using Google SketchUp and converted for FSX using ModelConverterX and Library Creator XML by Arno Gerretsen. Air-Mods static aircraft were converted using Static Aircraft .mdl Maker by Don Grovestine.

Installation instructions:

  • Unzip this file to a temporary folder.
  • Copy the N87 folder to your FSX "Addon Scenery" folder and add this to your FSX scenery library.
  • Unzip kb_static_aircraft_FSX.zip. This file contains the static aircraft library from KB Sims. Copy this to your FSX "Addon Scenery" folder and add this to your FSX scenery library.
  • Unzip smlairob.zip. This file contains the Small Airstrip Objects collection by Sidney Schwartz. Refer to Small Airstrip Objects SS readme.txt for installation instructions.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
