FS2004 BKS Vickers Viscount

BKS Vickers Viscount 806 livery for FS2004 recreates G-APOX as leased from BEA in the mid-1960s, complete with the understated branding change that left BEA lettering visible beneath the BKS logo. Captures the story of BEA’s final factory-delivered Viscount and its rebuild history, and requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper.

BKS leased Viscount 806 aircraft from BEA in the mid sixties with just a minimal livery change. In fact the BEA lettering was not even removed from under the BKS logo. Shown here is G-APOX which has a claim to fame as being BEA's seventieth and final factory delivered Viscount. Not only was it the last 806, it was also the first. The aircraft was a rebuild of G-AOYF that was damaged beyond repair in a heavy landing in Johannesburg while on a Vickers demonstration tour. Requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper. By Garry Russell.
