FSX Forest V2

Forest V2 refreshes FSX landscapes with redesigned DXT5 tree textures tuned for Service Pack 1, adding richer seasonal character through snow accents, dead-leaf variation, and improved palms. Choose 512x512 for maximum detail or 256x256 for lighter performance while keeping forests sharper and more believable from low-level flights to high-altitude views.

Enhanced textures in DXT5 format. The textures have now been redesigned to suite Service Pack 1. Also, the option is included to use either 512x512 or 256x256 textures. Textures have been redesigned by adding more effects like snow, dead leaves and enhanced palms. By Tom Knudsen.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
