EGPK Prestwick Airport (Glasgow, Scotland) gains expanded apron space and more believable parking around the terminal, with dedicated areas for narrow-body traffic on one side and wide-body visitors on the other. Designed for FS2004, the updated AFCAD layout improves gate availability and ground-flow realism for busy schedules.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

EGPK, Prestwick Airport, Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Adds apron space around the terminal to allow for more realistic parking. By David Brunning.

This file is an expansion of the default AFCAD file for Glasgow Prestwick. I have added apron space around the terminal to allow for more realistic parking and extra spaces have been added. One side of the terminal has space for narrow bodied aircraft and on the other side there is now space for wide bodied visitors.

Many thanks to Lee Swordy for his fabulous AFCAD program. Without which this could not have been done.

Installation:

Unzip the file, place the .bgl file in in the fs9/addonscenery/scenery folder.
Start FS2004.

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
