FS2004 AFCAD2 File For Hamburg Finkenwerder

Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport (EDHI) gets a refined AFCAD2 layout that guides AI traffic along proper taxiways, adds dedicated heavy parking for aircraft like the A380, and includes a cargo stand for Airbus parts operations. Built for FS2004 and designed to pair with the EDHI Version 3.5 scenery, which it requires.

Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport (EDHI) in Germany. By Juan L. Trujillo.

Overview of Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport.

Overview of Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport.

This FS9 AFCAD2 file is for those of us who like the "EDHI - Hamburg Finkenwerder Version 3.5 (edhi_35.zip)" scenery created by "Frank Zimmermann". I made this file for my own pleasure and fun but decided to share it with all. Smile! It may not be 100% perfect real life but it fixes the problem with the AI traffic not following the proper taxi ways in FS9. I added to the airport a HEAVY parking space for those like me who like to have the A380 flying around. Also a cargo parking space for delivery of the Airbus Industries parts to other airports. But please notice, this cargo parking space is located inside a building. I have tested it with CRASH DETECTION Activated with no crash happening!

Installation:

Unzip to a temporary folder then move the AF2_EDHI.bgl file into the Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery\ folder or the folder where you keep all your AFCAD2 files. Or if you are like me, put it directly on the scenery folder of Finkenwerder.

  3. Always read the included readme
