During my time testing this add-on, I found the orthophoto-based ground textures particularly immersive, enhancing approach and touchdown realism while maintaining top-notch performance in both X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10.

Developed to portray one of Brazil’s oldest operating civil aviation schools, the scenery showcases the spirited aviation activities that take place here daily. The inclusion of pushback services (where supported) and the faithfully rendered surroundings give pilots a taste of genuine Amazonian flying. This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Aeroclube do Amazonas / Flores Airfield (ICAO: SWFN, no IATA), which is a flight school and general aviation airfield located in the Manaus, Amazonas, in Brazil.

The Aeroclube do Amazonas (ACA) is an association of pilots and civil aviation school, located in the neighborhood of Flores, south-central zone of the city of Manaus, in the Amazon rainforest, in Brazil. Founded on April 30, 1940, it is now one of the oldest civil aviation schools still operating in Brazil. In addition to the aeroclub, several aerial taxi companies operate, and mainly, the parachutists. Skydiving schools have extreme safety both at the operational level and in the maintenance of their equipment. In addition to all these activities, ACA has an Aeromodelismo track homologated by the Brazilian Confederation of Aeromodelling (COBRA).

This scenery was tested and is operational (as of July 06, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.02r1 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of July 06, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

X-Plane 11 Installation:
Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP11. Copy and paste the folder "BR AM SWFN - Manaus Flores Airfield XP11 v1.0.0" into your "\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP10.

X-Plane 10 Installation:
Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP10. Copy and paste the folder "BR AM SWFN - Manaus Flores Airfield XP10 v1.0.0" into your "\X-Plane 10\Custom Scenery" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP11.

Additional scenery libraries needed:

Only the default X-Plane 11 libraries, by Laminar Research, are needed. No third party libraries are used.

How to install this mod

X-Plane scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy into Custom Scenery

Place the scenery folder into X-Plane 12/Custom Scenery/.
Set scenery load order

X-Plane loads sceneries top-to-bottom from Custom Scenery/scenery_packs.ini. Custom airports should be ABOVE mesh and ortho-imagery.
Restart X-Plane

Close X-Plane completely and relaunch. The new content loads automatically.
