FSX Telgte Airport Scenery

Telgte Airport (EDLT) near Münster, Westphalia, brings a focused VFR airfield experience to FSX with custom photo-based detailing, refined ground textures, and carefully placed objects for believable apron and surrounding scenery. Designed to integrate with VFR Germany 1, it requires the Aerosoft VFR library for non-standard scenery objects.

This was my first scenery done onlyby photos from a contest of a German internet site from flightsim design. I have never been there, but as is often recommend for On-Line-Competitions it should by ok. As some users asked me to convert this for Aerosoft's first edition of the new VFR-Series I did not hestitate thoug there will probabely soon be a commercial version form VFR Airfields.

Programs used are Abacus FS-Design, Adobe PhotoShop and SBuilderX. None-EDLT-special objects were done by Abacus Instant Scenery with objects from Aerosoft's VFR-Library.

After the normal installation procedure go to "select airport" an choose Munster-Telgte or EDLT.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
