FSX Caye Chapel Airport Scenery

Caye Chapel Airport (CYC) scenery brings Belize’s private island golf resort airstrip to life in FSX, featuring a notably short 100-yard runway with an unusually wide 25-meter strip for precise island approaches. Custom placement reflects the field’s unofficial status, using a local MZ58 designator while matching the real-world setting.

Caye Chapel Airport (CYC), Belize. Caye Chapel airport services Belize's biggest golf resort, or better said an island converted into a golf resort. By Alf B. Meier.

Caye Chapel Airport Scenery.

Caye Chapel Airport Scenery.

Caye Chapel airport services Belize's biggest golf resort, or better said an island converted into a golf resort. The 100 yard runway is also with its 25 meters among the widest strip.

MZ58 is a designator I have given this airstrip, it has no official ICAO designator but an IATA designator (CYC).

Installation:

Simply unzip the *.bgl files into the Addon Scenery/scenery folder.

Uninstallation:

Remove the files from the Addon Scenery/scenery folder.

Have fun.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
