Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Schonefeld Airport (EDDB), Berlin, Germany. Updates the default scenery with assigned parking, new control tower, redesigned terminal, rebuilt roads and more. By Ray Smith.

This BGL file was designed with the latest version of ADE (v1.37) and made only for the FSX default airport: assigned parking with extra parking, new control tower, the main terminal has been redesigned, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.

To Install:

1. simply take the BGL file and place it into: Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder.

2. Start up the Flight sim and the changes will be present.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE ONLY USE ONE EDDB.BGL FILE:
ie: make sure there is only ONE 'EDDB.BGL' FILE in the Addon Scenery/scenery folder at any time, remove/delete any other EDDB.bgl to avoid incorrect parking.

To Uninstall:

1. Delete/remove the BGL file and the default will then be active.

TIP: when at EDDB in tower view: go to your control settings and look for the "View track/pan Toggle" allocate a keyboard key stroke to it (i allocated a button on my X52 controller) this will unlock the user aircraft, then you can use the hat switch to pan 360 degrees around the airport, hitting the key stroke again (in my case a button) will return you to the user aircraft position.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
