Kigali International Airport (HRYR) for Rwanda brings a detailed freeware airfield to FSX with custom-designed terminal and hangar structures built from standard scenery libraries, capturing the look and layout with convincing ground presence. Tune 115.00 on the NAV2 radio to trigger an animated green-and-white hangar door for extra immersion.

Kigali International Airport Scenery.

This is Kigali Airport in Rwanda Africa.It is freeware and made with custom designed buildings,and FSX scenery librarys.Not the real thing but pretty close.Open the green and white hangar by tuning 115.00 on your nav 2 radio.

Instructions:

1.Unzip HRYR_Kigali.zip to a temp folder.

2.Copy the "HRYR_Kigali" folder to your FSX/scenery folder.

3.Run FSX.

4.On the main page go to "settings".

5.Now click on "scenery library".

6.Now click on "Add area" and search for the scenery folder.

7.Double click on the scenery folder and look for the "HRYR_Kigali" folder.

7.NB !!!!!! click on this folder only once ! and then click on "OK".

8.The scenery will now load !

9.Go to free flight and choose "HRYR" to start your flight !

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
