Bear Camp Research (BC) brings a fictitious mountain research airstrip to life north of Langley, British Columbia, tucked in a canyon above Pitt Lake. Built for FSX, it features a 600-foot dirt runway at 2,814 feet elevation, tight tree-lined approaches, a dedicated Unicom frequency, and simple on-site objects.

Bear Camp Reserch Scenery.

The Airport designation code is"(BC)" and has its own Unicom frequency's=119.225 MHz, Elevation 2814", 600" Dirt RW.It will be located in the scenery library under Canada/British Columbia/Langley/Bear Camp Research. This is a vary challenging airport, it has a 600" dirt runway with trees on both sides of the on approach, and "no run out" on the end, so you will need a short take off and landing plane. It is located up a canyon on a bend of Pitt Lake, you will need to negotiate through the conyons to rech it.If you leave from Langle at a heading of about 35 you can travel up the Lake to the bend at about 3200" I would suggest setting up your approach speed before you inter the tight confines of the canyons. If you have your Autogen set all the way, it will be more challenging.I have cleared a path for the approach but it is vary tight, There is no service's so have your own fuel.

Not all set ups and settings in flight Sim X are the same, so some may see it alittle different that others.I have UTX and GEX in my sim.
My settings are=
Mesh complexity 46
Mesh resolution 19m
Texture resolution 1m
Scenery complexity=very dence
land detail texture checked
Texture Max Load= 4096 in FSX cfg
Autogen= normal
May not matter but put in to let you know.

Installation:
Place Bear Camp Reasearch folder in you main add on scenery folder in FSX, In your sim go to your scenery Library in settings, Click Add Area, pick Bear Camp Research folder in Add on scenery. Click on OK only once, then in main scenery page click OK only once also, building database for new scenery files will start, may take a minute, or place all thee BGL files in your Addon scenery folder in main sim Addon file, and it will do it automatically for you. Then your good to go.

I have added ez-fuel_tanks scenery objects by Sidney Schwartz they are for FS9 buy work well in FSX.

This is my second real scenery try. Hope you will like it and have fun flying in and out of this little airport. If this works out OK. I will make others in the area for short little hops in your favorite short take off and landing planes or helicopters. Most of all, just have "FUN"!!!

Disclaimer:
There will be no tech support, It works fine in mine and others, It should not hurt your computor at all. If you do not like it, delete it. Its that "Simple". This is Freeware, you can do what ever you want with it just leave the documentation with it.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
