Paranaguá and the Paraná shoreline come alive with photoreal ground textures, enhanced landclass, and custom objects covering the town, rural areas, port, local airports, and Ilha do Mel. Built for FSX, it adds recognizable landmarks and shoreline detail and requires South America mesh coverage for the most convincing terrain.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Paranagua and Parana Shore - Brazil. FSX photoreal scenery for Paranaguá and Paraná Shore Landclass scenery. It is located at Brasilian Southern Shore.

Demonstration of a stadium using the scenery in FSX.Paranaguá is a 135.000 inhabitants town located at Brazilian southern state of Paraná, - it´s about 98km far away from Curitiba (capital). It´s a great place to visit, especially the Ilha do Mel.

This scenery brings all the town and rural zone, including the airport, port (one of the greatest of Brazil), some of Gmax buildings and Ilha do Mel (Honey Island). Most of Paraná Shore does not have a good resolution for photoreal sceneries, so I made LandClass that improves to complete the all Parana Shore Scenery.

For better effect in the scenery, please download the FSX Mesh South America (especially E8 and F8 files that covers Paraná State).

Installation Instructions:

Copy the folder: Paranagua
> Scenery
> Texture

into to the folder Addon Scenery of FSX, enabling the scenery in FSX.

To conclude installation, open FSX and select "SETTINGS" and then "Scenery Library...". Now, push the button "Add Area..." and, in the new window, browse to the installation folder. In the example, this is "C:\FSX\AddOns\Paranagua"

The files in the folder:

  1. cvx_XXX.bgl: landclass files.
  2. Ilhadomel.bgl: Ilha do Mel photoreal
  3. Litoralparana_obx.bgl: generic objects
  4. Paranagua.bgl: Gmax object list
  5. Paranagua01 and 02.bgl: Paranaguá Photoreal
  6. Paranaguagmax.bgl: gmax objects
  7. XXX_ADEX_GCS.bgl: airports(Paranaguá and Guaratuba)

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
