FSX Dobbins Air Reserve Base Scenery

Dobbins Air Reserve Base (KMGE) scenery brings the Marietta, Georgia airfield to life with an updated airport layout built in Airport Design Editor and tailored for military operations. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it includes custom C-130 library objects and scenery components that enhance ramps, taxiways, and the overall base environment.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Scenery Dobbins Air Reserve Base (KMGE), Marietta, Georgia (GA). By Joshua Keaton.

Installation:

1.Unzip the Folder "FSX Dobbins AFB"

2.Copy and paste the 2 folders inside to your FSX "Addon Scenery" folder

3. Run FSX and go to scenery library in the FSX settings menu.

4. Activate both the C130 library scenery and the Dobbins AFB Scenery.

This is my first file upload ever for Flight Simulator so if something goes wrong just let me know. I used ADE (Airport Design Editor). I'm an Amateur so don't expect much help if the scenery doesn't work properly....It should. I hope you enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
