Will old FSX or Prepar3D VTBS scenery work in MSFS?
No—an FSX or Prepar3D VTBS package cannot be installed directly in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Copying its files into the MSFS Community folder does not convert the scenery and may cause loading errors, misplaced objects or no visible change at all.

Does the VTBS scenery work in MSFS 2024 and on console?
Treat MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 and each console platform as separate compatibility targets. Some MSFS 2020 scenery can load in MSFS 2024, but that does not guarantee correct terraforming, jetways, ground materials, parking services or package priority.
On PC, a compatible package can normally be installed through the Community folder or the simulator’s Marketplace. Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro cannot use PC Community-folder downloads; the scenery must be offered through the in-simulator Marketplace for that platform.

Verify the simulator edition, airport-layout era and package overlap before installing any Suvarnabhumi add-on.
- Edition and platform: Look for an explicit reference to MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, PC or your console. “Microsoft Flight Simulator” by itself can be ambiguous on an older product page.
- Runway and taxiway era: Confirm that the represented VTBS layout matches the charts and navdata you intend to use, including later airport expansion.
- Parking and AI routing: Detailed terminals do not guarantee correct stand assignments or taxi paths. This matters if you use AI traffic or fly online.
