You can download Boeing 747 liveries for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 from our MSFS freeware library and, where offered, the simulator’s in-game Marketplace. On PC, install third-party repaint packages through the Community folder. Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 users are limited to liveries distributed through the Marketplace.
Where should I look for MSFS 2024 Boeing 747 liveries?

Which Boeing 747 livery should I download?
Choose only a repaint made for the exact Boeing 747 package installed in your simulator. A livery is not a complete aircraft, and matching the visible model name is not always enough: packages from different developers can use different model files, texture layouts and internal aircraft identifiers.
- Included 747-8 Intercontinental: select a livery whose description explicitly names the MSFS 2024 included 747-8 or confirms compatibility with it.
- Add-on 747: match the developer, product and variant exactly. A repaint for one developer’s 747 will not normally work with another developer’s version.
- Passenger versus freighter: do not assume 747-8I, 747-8F, 747-400 and 747-200 textures are interchangeable.
- MSFS 2020 packages: some may work in MSFS 2024, but download them only when the author or file description confirms compatibility. A familiar folder structure does not guarantee that the aircraft dependency still matches.

How do I install a 747 livery in MSFS 2024?
On PC, extract the livery package and place its add-on folder in the active MSFS 2024 Community folder.
- Confirm compatibility: check that the repaint names MSFS 2024 and your exact 747 model.
- Extract the archive: do not copy the ZIP, RAR or 7z archive directly into the simulator.
- Find the package folder: the correct folder usually contains files such as
manifest.jsonandlayout.json. Avoid leaving it buried inside an extra wrapper folder. - Copy and restart: place that package folder in the active
Communityfolder, restart the simulator, then select the corresponding 747 and livery.

Why does the Boeing 747 livery not appear?
The usual causes are an incompatible 747 variant, an extra nested folder or installation into the wrong Community directory.
- Wrong base aircraft: compare the required developer and model against the aircraft actually installed, not just the words “Boeing 747”.
- Folder nested too deeply: move the real package folder into
Communityrather than its outer download folder. - Wrong Community folder: multiple MSFS installations or a changed package location can leave an old folder that the simulator no longer reads.
- Duplicate package: remove older copies of the same livery so two versions do not share or conflict over package data.
- MSFS 2020-only repaint: replace it with a package confirmed for MSFS 2024 if it does not load correctly.
Test the repaint in Free Flight first. Career missions and certain activities can prescribe an aircraft configuration or livery, so failure to appear there does not always mean the package itself is broken.
Can Xbox and PS5 install downloaded 747 liveries?
No. MSFS 2024 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro does not allow users to copy third-party downloads into a Community folder. Console users must obtain compatible 747 liveries through the in-game Marketplace, and availability can differ by platform and aircraft package.
