Where can I download ToLiss A320 liveries for X-Plane 12?

Adam McEnroe
In short

Find ToLiss A320neo liveries for X-Plane 12, check aircraft compatibility, install each repaint correctly, and fix liveries that do not appear.

You can download ToLiss A320neo liveries for X-Plane 12 from our X-Plane mods library and from developer-approved community repaint releases. Check that every download explicitly names the ToLiss A320neo: liveries made for the ToLiss A319 or A321, another developer’s A320, or another simulator will not fit this aircraft.

Where can you find ToLiss A320neo repaints?

The safest sources are established X-Plane download libraries and releases endorsed by the aircraft or repaint developer. Search using the exact package name plus the operator, such as ToLiss A320neo airline livery; a listing that says only “A320” is not specific enough.

Our guide to finding free airline repaints for add-on aircraft explains how to assess repaint downloads and avoid files made for a different model. Availability varies by airline, registration and special colour scheme.

A livery download contains textures and supporting configuration files only. It does not include the payware ToLiss aircraft, so the ToLiss A320neo must already be installed in X-Plane 12.

How do you check whether a livery is compatible?

Aircraft compatibility matters more than the airline name or the broad A320 designation. Look for the exact words ToLiss A320neo in the description, file name or included readme.

Download descriptionSuitable for the ToLiss A320neo?
ToLiss A320neo for X-Plane 12Yes, provided it matches the installed aircraft generation.
ToLiss A320neo for X-Plane 11Possibly; many texture-only liveries work, but mapping and configuration differences must be checked.
ToLiss A319 or A321No. These models use different texture layouts.
Generic A320 or another developer’s A320neoNo, unless the author supplies a separate ToLiss version.
Microsoft Flight Simulator, FSX or Prepar3D liveryNo. Those texture packages are not compatible with X-Plane.

Also check whether the repaint supports the engine option you intend to use. A package may paint one engine type correctly while leaving the other with default or mismatched textures.

How do you install a ToLiss A320 livery in X-Plane 12?

Install the extracted repaint inside the ToLiss aircraft’s own liveries directory, not in Custom Scenery or X-Plane’s main resources folders.

  1. Close X-Plane 12 before changing the aircraft files.
  2. Extract the downloaded archive to a temporary location. Do not place the ZIP or RAR archive directly in the simulator.
  3. Find the actual livery folder. It will normally contain an objects subfolder and may also include preview images or configuration files.
  4. Copy that folder to X-Plane 12/Aircraft/[ToLiss A320 folder]/liveries/[Livery Name]/.
  5. Start X-Plane 12, select the ToLiss A320neo and choose the repaint from the aircraft customisation screen.

The required folder structure and archive-handling details are covered in our X-Plane 11 and 12 livery installation instructions.

Why does the ToLiss livery not appear?

A livery that does not appear is usually installed one directory too deep. The correct structure is liveries/Airline Name/objects, not liveries/Airline Name/Airline Name/objects.

  • No livery entry: extract the archive, correct any doubled folder level and confirm that it was placed inside the aircraft copy you actually load.
  • White, grey or scrambled fuselage: the repaint probably targets another A320 package or an incompatible texture layout.
  • Default engines or wing details: select the engine option supported by the repaint or obtain a package containing textures for both options.
  • Livery works but has no thumbnail: the repaint may lack preview images. This does not necessarily mean its aircraft textures are broken.
  • Only some textures fail on a case-sensitive system: file-name capitalisation may not match the texture references. Use a corrected release rather than renaming files blindly.
  • Changes have no effect: check for duplicate ToLiss installations under Aircraft; the repaint may have been copied into an older or unused copy.

Can X-Plane 11 ToLiss A320 liveries work in X-Plane 12?

Some X-Plane 11 ToLiss A320neo liveries work in X-Plane 12 because the repaint is primarily a texture package, but compatibility is not guaranteed. The exact ToLiss model and texture mapping must match, and any livery-specific configuration must still be recognised by the installed aircraft version.

After installing an older repaint, inspect the fuselage, tail, wings, wingtip devices and both engine choices. Remove it if textures are missing or misaligned; converting a repaint properly requires the appropriate ToLiss paint kit rather than simply renaming another aircraft’s files.
