Yes. GSX Pro airport profiles are available for KDFW in Microsoft Flight Simulator, but the profile must match the exact Dallas/Fort Worth scenery package you use. On PC, extract the downloaded profile, copy its .ini file to the GSX MSFS profiles folder, then restart Couatl or the simulator.
Which KDFW GSX profile do I need?
A KDFW GSX profile must be designed for the airport scenery package and revision installed in your simulator. There is no universal profile that accurately covers the default airport and every third-party KDFW add-on.

If no ready-made profile names your exact scenery, do not substitute one merely because it says KDFW. Use the GSX airport editor to customise the required stands and save your own profile instead.
How do I install a KDFW GSX profile?
Install the extracted airport-profile files in the GSX roaming-data folder, not the Microsoft Flight Simulator Community folder.
- Confirm GSX Pro works: Load an airport and check that the GSX menu and Couatl are running. If not, complete our GSX Pro installation and update checks before adding a profile.
- Verify compatibility: Check that the profile names KDFW, your exact scenery package and, where specified, MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024.
- Extract the download: Open the archive and locate the airport-profile
.inifile. Do not copy the unopened archive into the simulator. - Copy the profile: Place the
.inifile directly in%APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX\MSFS. Entering that path in File Explorer opens the normally hidden roaming-data location. Keep any companion files only when the included instructions require them. - Check for duplicates: Back up and remove older KDFW profiles that target the same scenery. Do not rename the new file unless its instructions specifically require it.
- Reload GSX: Restart Couatl through the available GSX controls, or close and restart Microsoft Flight Simulator.
- Test at KDFW: Spawn at a gate covered by the profile and open the GSX airport customisation page. Check the stand name, stop position, pushback and service-vehicle placement.

Why is the KDFW GSX profile not loading correctly?
Most KDFW profile failures come from a scenery mismatch, an extra folder level or an older profile left active.
- GSX uses generated airport data: Confirm that the
.inifile is directly inside the MSFS profile folder rather than inside another extracted folder. - The profile is present but not selected: Its scenery reference may not match the installed KDFW package. - Vehicles or stop positions are displaced: The profile was probably created for another KDFW scenery or an earlier airport update. Replace it with a matching revision or edit the affected stands.
- Changes do not appear: Restart Couatl or the simulator. Copying a profile while Couatl is running may leave the previous airport data active for that session.
- Jetways disappear or appear twice: Check the GSX jetway exclusion setting for KDFW when the scenery supplies custom jetways. Jetway replacement is separate from the airport profile.
- GSX loads but services will not start: Confirm that the aircraft is stopped at a supported stand and that GSX itself is operating. Aircraft door positions and service points belong to the aircraft profile, not the KDFW airport profile.
Will the same KDFW profile work in MSFS 2020 and 2024?
A KDFW profile can work in both simulators only when they use compatible versions of the same airport scenery and GSX recognises the same airport data. Do not assume cross-version compatibility merely because the ICAO code is unchanged; check several gates, pushbacks and passenger routes after loading.
This installation method is for Windows PC. GSX Pro depends on Couatl and profile files outside the simulator, so KDFW GSX profiles cannot be installed on the Xbox version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
