Yes. KMCO GSX profiles are available for Microsoft Flight Simulator, but each profile is built for a particular Orlando International scenery package, not merely the KMCO identifier. On PC, extract the matching profile into GSX Pro’s MSFS profile folder, restart Couatl, and check a customised gate before flying.
These profile files require GSX Pro on Windows. They cannot be manually installed on Xbox or PlayStation, and they do not include the KMCO scenery itself.
Which KMCO GSX profile should I choose?

A GSX profile changes service and parking data such as stopping positions, vehicle locations, walk-in routes and aircraft-specific guidance. It does not install terminals, aprons or jetways. Different distribution editions of the same scenery can also use different package layouts, so follow any edition-specific compatibility note.
How do I install a KMCO GSX profile manually?
Install the extracted airport-profile files in GSX Pro’s roaming application-data folder, not the MSFS Community folder.
- Confirm GSX Pro works. Start Microsoft Flight Simulator and check that GSX opens and Couatl is running. If it does not, repair or update the GSX Pro and Couatl installation before adding the KMCO profile.
- Verify your KMCO scenery. Check the scenery package name, its MSFS 2020 or 2024 compatibility and whether another KMCO rendition is also enabled.
- Extract the download. Do not leave the profile inside its ZIP archive. Open any enclosing folders until you can see the supplied
.inifile and, where included, its companion.pyfile. - Open the GSX airport-profile folder. Enter
%APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX\MSFSin Windows Run or File Explorer. GSX normally creates this folder after it has run at least once. - Copy the supplied files. Place the
.iniand any instructed companion file directly in that folder. Keep their original names; do not copy the ZIP or an extra enclosing directory. - Remove only the superseded revision. If this is an update to the same KMCO profile, move its older files to a backup folder outside the GSX directory. Do not delete unrelated airport profiles.
- Reload Couatl. Use the Couatl restart command exposed by GSX, or close Microsoft Flight Simulator and Couatl completely before reopening them. Spawn at a gate specifically covered by the profile and inspect it before requesting services.

How can I confirm the KMCO profile loaded?
The best check is to inspect a parking position that the profile documentation identifies as customised. Open GSX at KMCO, enter Customize airport positions, select that stand and look for the profile-specific stop positions, service locations or aircraft entries.
Then request a simple service at the same gate. Correct vehicle routes and stopping points indicate a suitable profile; vehicles crossing buildings, guidance positioned away from the stand or services appearing at the wrong side usually indicate a scenery mismatch. A working GSX menu alone does not prove that the KMCO profile loaded.
Why is my KMCO GSX profile not working?
- Wrong scenery rendition: the most common cause is a profile made for another KMCO package. Install the matching profile rather than trying to compensate with individual gate edits.
- Nested installation folder: GSX may not find files left inside the extracted download’s enclosing directory. Put the profile files directly in
%APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX\MSFS. - Two KMCO sceneries enabled: overlapping airport packages can make GSX read parking data from the wrong scenery. Disable the unwanted rendition and restart the simulator so the airport data is rescanned.
- Incomplete or renamed files: restore the original filenames and copy every companion file required by the profile instructions.
- Scenery updated after the profile: changed parking identifiers, elevations or stand geometry can break an older profile. Use a revision made for the updated airport.
- Only some gates were edited: community profiles do not always cover every KMCO stand. Test a gate explicitly listed by the creator before assuming the installation failed.
If a download says only “KMCO” without naming its scenery package or supported MSFS version, we would not use it until that compatibility is confirmed.
