Instrument coverage

Campbell’s two runway alignments are paired with only one RNAV (GPS) approach, so the instrument set offers a single published arrival procedure rather than a choice across both alignments. With no airport diagram, coverage is limited to approach and minima material. At 3,270 and 3,573 ft, the runways differ by only 303 ft, so changing alignment does not provide a markedly longer strip; 06/24 also combines asphalt and turf.

Local chart context

Chart coverage is much broader at KPWK, KENW and KUGN, each with 11–13 published charts. Lake in the Hills is only slightly broader with three, while Galt Field matches Campbell’s two-chart total. The Chicago Sectional, Terminal Area and Helicopter Route charts add area-wide and specialised visual coverage beyond the lone instrument procedure.
