Only two of Chicago Exec’s four runway ends have published approach coverage. The three approach charts provide ILS and localiser capability alongside two RNAV (GPS) procedures, concentrating instrument access on half of the available runway directions. Runway 16/34 provides the greater length at 5,001 ft; the 4,415 ft Runway 12/30 adds another alignment but less available distance.
Among nearby fields, Waukegan National has a chart set closest in scale to Chicago Exec’s, while DuPage has broader coverage. Chicago O’Hare’s procedure collection is much larger; Campbell and Lake in the Hills have markedly thinner sets. For visual planning, the Chicago Sectional supplies regional coverage, the Terminal Area Chart adds more detailed terminal-area context, and the Helicopter Route Chart provides the corresponding rotorcraft route depiction.
