Arlington Municipal’s three approaches use RNAV (GPS), localiser and NDB procedures, but all serve a single runway end. Instrument arrival coverage is therefore varied in method but concentrated on one alignment; the other three runway ends have no published approach. With one departure procedure, the chart set offers more variety for arrivals than departures.
Runway 16/34 is 1,834 ft longer than 11/29, making it the less restrictive of the two crossing runways where available runway length is the deciding factor. Nearby, Seattle Paine Field International and Whidbey Island NAS have substantially broader chart coverage, while Harvey Field, DeLaurentis and Skagit Regional have thinner sets. The Seattle Sectional supplies the wider VFR context not shown by Arlington’s terminal procedures.
