Bartow Executive’s five approaches cover four of its six runway ends, so instrument procedure coverage is spread across the runway layout without extending to every direction. Four RNAV (GPS) procedures make the set predominantly satellite-based, while the single VOR approach preserves a conventional option. With five procedures serving four ends, one covered end has more than one published approach.
The parallel 09/27 runways share one alignment, while 05/23 provides a second; their lengths fall within 585 ft of one another, avoiding a large capacity difference between strips on length alone. Lakeland Linder International has much broader chart coverage than the other nearby fields, while Winter Haven Regional is closest to Bartow’s total and Avon Park Executive has the thinnest set. Two sectional charts provide wider visual context, supplemented by the more detailed Tampa-Orlando Terminal Area Chart.
