Winter Haven Regional’s three approaches serve only two of its four runway ends, so instrument coverage is concentrated rather than available on every alignment. Two RNAV (GPS) procedures provide most of that coverage, supplemented by one VOR approach. Runway 05/23 is 1,004 ft longer than 11/29, giving aircraft that require more runway a clear distinction between the two available alignments.
Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. Bartow Executive has a similarly compact chart set, while Lake Wales Municipal and Plant City have thinner collections. Lakeland Linder International and Kissimmee Gateway are much more extensively charted. The Jacksonville and Miami sectionals place Winter Haven within broader VFR coverage, while the Tampa-Orlando Terminal Area Chart adds more focused terminal-area context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
