Go PROSouth Florida’s peninsula, the Florida Keys and the western Bahamas define this sheet, with coverage stretching from the Cape Canaveral area to the Straits of Florida and westwards into the Gulf of Mexico. Much of the chart is coastal or over water, combining low-lying mainland terrain, island chains, bays and broad sea crossings. The Jacksonville sectional adjoins to the north-west for routes continuing beyond central Florida.
The sectional provides the wider regional view needed to place journeys across the peninsula, along either coast or through the Keys and nearby islands. The Terminal Area Chart covering the same locality serves a different purpose: its larger scale gives a more concentrated view of the principal terminal area, while this sheet retains the broader geographical context across South Florida and surrounding waters.
