Limited instrument coverage

Boulder City Municipal has two runway alignments, but its sole published approach is an RNAV (GPS) procedure serving just one of the four runway ends. Instrument arrivals are therefore concentrated on a single end, with no published approach for the other three. Runway 09/27 provides 1,251 ft more length than 15/33, making the available runway length notably dependent on alignment. An airport diagram is also published.

Chart context

Nearby chart coverage varies sharply. Harry Reid International has by far the broadest set, while Henderson Executive, Nellis AFB and North Las Vegas carry similarly sized collections; Laughlin/Bullhead International is much closer to Boulder City’s limited coverage. Three sectional charts provide wider VFR context, while the Las Vegas Terminal Area Chart adds focused terminal-area coverage beyond the single instrument approach.
