Procedure coverage

Scottsdale’s chart set is notably departure-heavy, with 13 departure procedures against six approaches. All runway ends are served, so the single 03/21 alignment has instrument coverage in both directions. Five RNAV (GPS) procedures make satellite navigation the main approach basis, while the lone VOR procedure provides the only published alternative approach type. The 8,249-foot runway offers substantial usable length, but there is no second alignment.

Regional chart context

Phoenix Sky Harbor International has much broader procedure coverage, while Phoenix Deer Valley and Glendale Regional are closer to Scottsdale’s overall chart depth. Falcon Field is thinner, and Stellar Airpark has the smallest nearby set. The Phoenix Sectional supplies wider-area VFR context, while the Phoenix Terminal Area Chart adds more focused visual detail around Scottsdale.
