Camarillo’s four approaches serve both ends of its single 6,013 ft runway, providing procedure coverage for either runway direction rather than concentrating it at one end. Three RNAV (GPS) procedures form the main approach provision, supplemented by one VOR procedure. The separate airport diagram also depicts the runway and two concrete helipads.
Oxnard has a similarly sized procedure set nearby, while Point Mugu NAS has somewhat broader coverage. Farther east, Van Nuys and Santa Monica Municipal have substantially larger chart collections; Whiteman’s is thinner than Camarillo’s. The Los Angeles Sectional supplies wider VFR context, while the Los Angeles Terminal Area Chart adds a more focused depiction of the surrounding terminal area.
