Chino’s three approach procedures all serve a single runway end, concentrating instrument access on one of the airport’s six ends. The set nevertheless offers ILS/localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR guidance rather than relying on one approach type. Of the three asphalt runways, 08R/26L provides 7,000 ft—more than 2,000 ft beyond either of the other strips—making it the clear choice where additional runway distance is required.
Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. Ontario International’s 33-chart set is substantially broader, while Riverside and Brackett Field are close to Chino’s level of coverage. Cable’s three charts form the thinnest nearby set. The Los Angeles Sectional, Terminal Area and Helicopter Route charts add VFR, terminal-area and helicopter-route context not supplied by Chino’s instrument procedures.
