Riverside’s five approach charts combine ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures, but serve only two of the airport’s four runway ends. The chart set therefore provides varied instrument guidance without extending approach coverage to both ends of each runway. Runway 09/27 is almost twice the length of 16/34; the shorter crossing runway adds another alignment, but not comparable available length.
Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. Ontario International has the broadest published set, while March ARB is closest to Riverside’s total. Chino and Corona Municipal have progressively thinner coverage, and Flabob has only a minimal set.
