Departure-heavy procedure coverage

Austin Exec’s terminal chart set is weighted towards departures, with six departure procedures but only two instrument approaches. Both approaches use RNAV (GPS) and together serve two runway ends, providing GPS arrival coverage without a choice of approach technology. The airport diagram adds the ground-layout detail needed to interpret the two-runway configuration.

Runways and surrounding coverage

The 6,025 ft runway is nearly four times the length of the 1,550 ft runway, so the shorter strip accommodates a much narrower range of aircraft performance. Nearby, Taylor Municipal has the same number of published charts, while Georgetown Executive is similarly covered. Austin-Bergstrom International has a substantially broader set; Lago Vista and Lakeway are slightly thinner. The Houston and San Antonio sectionals add wider VFR context, while the Gulf Coast helicopter chart contributes route-specific coverage absent from the terminal procedures.
