Taylor Municipal’s RNAV (GPS) and VOR approaches both serve the same end of its sole runway, leaving the reciprocal end without a published instrument approach. The chart set is weighted more towards departure procedures than arrivals. With one 4,000 ft runway, there is no alternative alignment, and aircraft requiring more runway cannot be accommodated within the published length.
Austin Executive and Georgetown Executive have similarly sized chart sets, while Austin-Bergstrom International has substantially broader procedure coverage. Lago Vista/Rusty Allen and Lakeway Airpark are slightly thinner by comparison. The Houston and San Antonio sectionals provide wider visual-navigation context around Taylor, while the US Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart adds helicopter-route information absent from the terminal procedures.
