Balanced procedure coverage

Georgetown Executive’s four runway ends each have an RNAV (GPS) approach, giving both directions on both runways instrument procedure coverage. Departures are more numerous than approaches, with six published departure procedures alongside the four approaches. Runway 18/36 provides 905 ft more length than 11/29, making it the principal choice where available runway length is the deciding factor.

Local chart context

Taylor Municipal and Austin Executive have chart sets closest in breadth to Georgetown Executive, while Lago Vista TX/Rusty Allen and Robert Gray AAF are only slightly thinner. Skylark Field has markedly less procedure coverage. The Houston and San Antonio sectionals add wider visual-navigation context beyond the terminal procedures, while the US Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart supplies helicopter-specific routing information.
