Fallon Municipal’s compact instrument set is centred on one RNAV (GPS) approach and one VOR approach, providing two navigation methods rather than several variants of the same procedure. With no published arrival or departure charts this cycle, the coverage is chiefly concerned with the airport and its approaches. Runway 03/21 is the longer asphalt option; aircraft requiring more than 3,581 ft or a paved surface are therefore limited to that alignment rather than the shorter dirt runway 13/31.
Nearby KNFL has a substantially broader chart set, while Reno/Tahoe International’s coverage is broader again. Silver Springs and Yerington Municipal have thinner sets than Fallon Municipal, and Derby Field has only modestly more. The Las Vegas and San Francisco sectionals add wider VFR context beyond the terminal procedures.
