Glendale Regional’s two instrument approaches are both RNAV (GPS), with one serving each end of the single 01/19 runway. Arrival coverage therefore extends to both directions, but offers no alternative approach type. The chart set is notably departure-heavy, with ten departure procedures against two approaches. With no second runway alignment, every procedure ultimately relates to the same 7,150 ft strip; aircraft requiring more runway have no longer option on the field.
Goodyear has the most comparable chart coverage nearby, while Luke AFB’s set is thinner. Deer Valley and Scottsdale have broader collections, and Phoenix Sky Harbor’s is substantially larger. The Phoenix Sectional and Terminal Area Chart add visual planning context at regional and more detailed local scales beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
