Luke AFB pairs two parallel concrete runways of almost identical length, so a left- or right-runway assignment makes little difference to the available distance. Instrument coverage reaches all four runway ends, with six approach plates including two ILS and two localiser procedures. This gives the chart set balanced coverage in both runway directions rather than concentrating procedures on a single end.
Chart coverage is broader at Phoenix Deer Valley, Glendale Regional and Phoenix Goodyear, and much broader at Phoenix Sky Harbor International. Buckeye Municipal has a notably thinner procedure set. For visual planning, the Phoenix Sectional supplies the wider regional picture, while the Phoenix Terminal Area Chart adds a more focused depiction around the terminal area.
