Procedure coverage

Texas Gulf Coast Regional’s chart set is weighted heavily towards departures: 22 departure procedures sit alongside three approach plates. Those plates combine an ILS/localiser procedure with two RNAV (GPS) approaches, serving both ends of the sole 7,000 ft runway. This provides instrument arrival coverage for either alignment, with a precision option on one end, but far more published choice for routing away from the field. No separate airport diagram is published.

Local chart context

Houston/Southwest, Sugar Land Regional and Scholes International at Galveston have chart sets of broadly similar size; Pearland Regional is somewhat thinner, while Bay City Regional has markedly less coverage. The Houston Sectional adds wider visual context, the Houston Terminal Area Chart supplies terminal-area detail, and the US Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart adds the region’s helicopter-route depiction.
