Lake Charles Regional’s procedure set serves all four ends of its two runway alignments rather than concentrating instrument access on one direction. The seven approach plates collectively span ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures, providing both precision and non-precision options. Runway 15/33 offers 1,300 ft more length than 05/23, while the airport diagram shows how the two alignments relate on the ground.
Chennault International has the broadest published procedure set among the nearby fields, though it remains smaller than Lake Charles Regional’s. Southland Field and Jennings have thinner coverage, while Welsh and De Quincy Industrial Airpark have only a small number of published charts.
