Approach coverage

Millinocket Municipal’s three approaches serve only two of its four runway ends, so instrument coverage is concentrated on half of the available directions. The two RNAV (GPS) procedures form the main approach provision, while the VOR procedure adds a non-GPS type. Two paved runways provide separate alignments, although both are under 5,000 ft, with 11/29 offering the greater available length.

Nearby and VFR coverage

Old Town Municipal and Houlton International have chart sets equal in number to Millinocket’s. Lincoln Regional, Greenville Municipal and Dexter Regional each have thinner published coverage. The Halifax and Montreal sectionals add broad-area visual context around Millinocket that is not supplied by the instrument procedures, particularly useful for understanding its position relative to surrounding airfields and charted features.
