Approach and runway coverage

Ogden-Hinckley’s three approach plates provide ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures, but every published approach serves the same runway end. Instrument coverage is therefore concentrated on one alignment despite the airport having two runways. The 8,107 ft runway offers substantially more usable length than the 5,195 ft crossing runway, making runway choice consequential for aircraft requiring greater take-off or landing distance.

Regional chart context

Hill AFB has chart coverage of a similar breadth, while Salt Lake City International’s set is much larger. Brigham City Regional and South Valley Regional have notably thinner collections, with Logan-Cache falling between them and Ogden-Hinckley. The Salt Lake City Sectional supplies the broader VFR setting, while the Terminal Area Chart adds a more focused view around the airport.
