Approach and runway coverage

Southwest Florida International’s six approach plates serve both ends of its sole 12,000 ft runway. The mix provides GPS-based procedures alongside ILS, localiser and VOR options, rather than relying on a single form of guidance. With no second runway alignment, every published approach leads to the same strip; its substantial length accommodates aircraft needing considerably more take-off or landing distance than a short general-aviation runway could provide.

Regional chart context

Page Field and Naples Municipal have chart sets closest in breadth to RSW’s, while Punta Gorda has somewhat less coverage. Immokalee Regional and especially La Belle Municipal are represented by much thinner procedure sets. The Miami Sectional and Caribbean 1 VFR chart add wider visual and regional context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
