Savannah/Hilton Head International has published approaches to all four ends of its two differently aligned runways, rather than concentrating instrument access on one direction. The mix of ILS, RNAV (GPS), VOR and localiser procedures also provides several forms of guidance. The 9,351 ft runway offers 2,349 ft more length than the 7,002 ft runway, making runway choice materially different where required take-off or landing distance is a factor.
