SPA’s single 05/23 runway has published approach coverage at both ends. Across three IAPs, the set provides one ILS, two RNAV (GPS) options and localiser coverage. The ILS adds precision guidance, while coverage in both runway directions avoids concentrating all published instrument access on one end. With no second runway, however, there is no alternative alignment in the published runway layout. No separate airport diagram is issued this cycle.
Greenville–Spartanburg International and Greenville Downtown have broader chart sets, while Donaldson Field is close to SPA’s coverage. Union County and Laurens County have much thinner procedure collections. The Atlanta and Charlotte sectionals provide overlapping VFR coverage, with the Charlotte Terminal Area Chart adding terminal-area context beyond the instrument procedures.
