Three approaches serve only two of NORTH AF AUX’s four runway ends, concentrating published instrument access on half of the available alignments. The mix of two RNAV (GPS) procedures and one VOR procedure provides both satellite-based and conventional coverage. Runway length is sharply divided: the 10,003 ft runway accommodates far less restrictive length requirements than the 3,500 ft cross-runway, making the longer alignment the realistic option for aircraft needing substantial runway distance.
Columbia Metro has a markedly broader procedure set, while Orangeburg Municipal is only slightly broader. Lexington County and Jim Hamilton L B Owens are comparable in chart depth, and Bamberg County is thinner. The Atlanta and Charlotte sectionals add wider visual context beyond the airport-specific diagram and instrument procedures.
