JAARS-Townsend has a balanced but compact instrument set: one RNAV (GPS) procedure serves each end of runway 04/22. Both directions therefore have published approach coverage, but neither has a second procedure type or duplicate option. The single 3,309 ft runway places a clear practical limit on the aircraft able to use the field.
Lancaster County-Mc Whirter Field, Charlotte/Monroe Executive and Rock Hill/York County/Bryant Field have substantially broader chart sets. Pageland’s coverage is thinner even than JAARS-Townsend’s, while Chester Catawba Regional is closer in scale. The Atlanta and Charlotte sectionals add wider VFR context, with the Charlotte Terminal Area Chart providing more focused visual detail than the instrument procedures.
