Bryant AAF’s instrument coverage is tightly focused: one RNAV (GPS) approach serves each end of its sole runway. This provides the same type of instrument procedure for both runway alignments, with no other approach type published. At 4,088 ft, runway 18/36 is the only available strip, so there is no alternative runway orientation. A published airport diagram supports ground reference.
Ted Stevens Anchorage International and Elmendorf AFB have much broader procedure sets, while Merrill Field is more moderately covered. Big Lake is close to Bryant AAF in chart volume, and Lake Hood’s coverage is notably thinner. The Anchorage and Seward sectionals add regional VFR context, while the Anchorage-Fairbanks Terminal Area Chart provides a more detailed terminal-area view.
