All six runway ends at Ted Stevens Anchorage International have published instrument approaches. The set combines ILS, RNAV (GPS) and localiser procedures, with one ILS carrying CAT II/III minima. This gives each of the airport’s three runway alignments instrument coverage rather than concentrating procedures on selected ends. All three runways exceed 10,000 ft, while 07R/25L extends to 12,400 ft, so the layout provides substantial runway length across every alignment.
Among nearby fields, Elmendorf AFB has the broadest procedure coverage, though still fewer charts than PANC.
