Go PROCook Inlet, the Kenai Peninsula and Prince William Sound anchor the western half of this sheet, while its long eastern reach follows the Gulf of Alaska coast towards Yakutat Bay. The landscape is dominated by deeply cut shoreline, islands, glaciers and the steep Kenai and Chugach mountains, with open Gulf waters along the southern edge. Inland, the coverage reaches across lake country west of Cook Inlet and the mountain corridors behind the coast.
Its broad east–west span of about 422 nautical miles allows many coastal routes to remain on one sheet, but longer journeys cross into neighbouring coverage. Anchorage continues the picture to the north; McGrath and Kodiak adjoin to the west; and Juneau carries the coast onwards to the east. These joins are particularly relevant for routes following the Gulf shoreline, as the sheet is comparatively shallow from north to south.

Flying the area on this sheet? Every approach plate and airport diagram for Alaska is available as a single 140.9 MB archive (594 charts) — see the Alaska airports.
It spans 59.0°N to 61.6°N and 154.2°W to 139.9°W. Airports on the sheet fall within Alaska. The full list of public-use airports within its coverage is on this page.
Take the GeoTIFF if you are loading the chart into moving-map software or a flight planner — it is georeferenced, so the software can place it correctly on a map, and it ships with a world file and FGDC metadata at 300 dpi (39.9 MB). Take the PDF to print it or read it on a second screen (79.9 MB); it is the same chart without georeferencing.
This is the FAA edition effective 9 July 2026, which is superseded on 3 September 2026. Visual charts are reissued every 56 days and we publish each new edition on the day it takes effect. It is for flight simulation and reference only — not for real-world navigation.
Anchorage to the north, McGrath to the west, Kodiak to the west and Juneau to the east. Each is linked from this page, so a route running off one edge can be continued on the next sheet.
