X51 combines three runway alignments with only two instrument approaches, both RNAV (GPS), covering two runway ends. Instrument arrival coverage is therefore narrow, while the much larger departure set provides considerably more routing detail for flights leaving the field. No airport diagram is published. Only runway 18/36 exceeds 3,000 ft, so the two shorter runways do not provide a like-for-like length alternative.
KHST and KTMB have chart sets of broadly comparable scale, while KMIA’s coverage is substantially broader. Ocean Reef Club has a thinner set, and Dade-Collier’s single published chart is minimal by comparison. The Miami Sectional and Terminal Area Chart add local and terminal-area VFR context, while Caribbean 1 extends the visual reference picture across the wider region.
