Miami-Opa Locka Executive combines a parallel 09/27 pair with the differently aligned 12/30, yet instrument approaches serve only four of the six runway ends. The mix includes ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures, providing both ground-based and satellite-based arrival options while concentrating instrument coverage on selected ends. The 8,002 ft runway is nearly twice the length of the 4,309 ft parallel, so the available landing or departure distance changes substantially with runway assignment.
Miami International and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International have broader procedure sets, while Miami Executive and Fort Lauderdale Executive are much closer to KOPF in chart coverage. North Perry’s set is markedly thinner. The Miami Sectional supplies wider-area VFR context, the Terminal Area Chart adds closer terminal detail, and Caribbean 1 extends the regional VFR picture.
